Article I Bonds

[Adopted as Sec. 256.01 of 1989 Codified Ordinances]

§ 150-1 Bonded officials. [1]

Surety bonds, conditioned as required by Section 5.14 of the City Charter, shall be filed by the following officers of the City in the amounts indicated:

A. City Treasurer: $50,000.

B. Deputy City Treasurer: $50,000.

§ 150-2 Blanket security bonds.

To the extent that any such officer or department head is covered by any blanket surety bond, the amount of the individual bond required for such officer or department head shall be proportionately reduced. All other officers and employees of the City who receive, distribute or are responsible for City funds or investments shall be covered by a blanket surety bond which shall cover each such officer and employee in an amount of not less than $50,000.
