Adoption of Administrative Code — See Ch. 1, Art. III.
This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Toms River Inter-Agency Cooperative Pricing System."
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11(5), the Township Council hereby authorizes the creation of a cooperative pricing system to be known as the "Toms River Inter-Agency Cooperative Pricing System" (TRIAC) with the Township of Toms River as the lead agency.
The Township Council is hereby authorized to enter into separate cooperative pricing agreements with the participating governmental units, and said agreements shall be deemed a single agreement. These agreements shall be for the purchase of work, materials and supplies.
The Township of Toms River, as lead agency, shall be responsible for complying with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.) and all other provisions of the revised statutes of the State of New Jersey.
This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Ocean County Cooperative Pricing System of the Township of Toms River; Lead Agency - Township of Stafford."
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11(5), the Township of Toms River is hereby authorized to enter into a cooperative pricing agreement with the Township of Stafford, as the lead agency, or any other contracting unit within the County of Ocean or adjoining counties for the purchase of work, materials and supplies.
The lead agency entering into contracts on behalf of the Township of Toms River shall be responsible for complying with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.), and all other provisions of the revised statutes of the State of New Jersey.
