Fire District No. 1 of the Township of Toms
River, in the County of Ocean, is hereby enlarged and its boundaries
extended so that the present boundaries of said district shall be
as follows:

All those lands and premises situated, lying
and being in the Township of Toms River and County of Ocean within
the exterior lines following, to wit: Beginning at the northeast corner
of the Township of Toms River, in the County of Ocean, where the north
line of said Township intersects with the Atlantic Ocean; thence in
a westerly direction along the north line of the Township of Toms
River to the main channel of Barnegat Bay; thence south along the
main channel of Barnegat Bay to a point opposite where Silver Bay
intersects said Barnegat Bay; thence westerly along the center line
of said Silver Bay to Hooper Avenue; thence south along the center
line of Hooper Avenue to where the same intersects with the center
line of Maple Street; thence west along the center line of Maple Street
and Maple Street extended to the Toms River; thence northwest along
the Toms River to a point where the Union Branch and North Branch
of the Toms River intersect; thence southwest along the boundary line
between Toms River and Manchester Townships to the southwest corner
of Toms River Township, which point is in the Berkeley Township line;
thence southeast along the southerly line of Toms River Township to
the Toms River; thence easterly along the main channel of the Toms
River to the Borough of Island Heights; thence following the Township
of Toms River lines around the Borough of Island Heights to the Toms
River; thence easterly along the southerly and southeasterly boundary
line of Toms River Township to the Atlantic Ocean; thence north along
the Atlantic Ocean to the point or place of beginning; excepting thereout
and therefrom such portion of land covered by the above description
as is in the Borough of Lavallette.

A.
The following lands presently located in Toms River
Township Fire District No. 1 be and are transferred to and included
in Toms River Township Fire District No. 2, to wit: All that certain
tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Township of
Toms River, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, bounded within the
following lines: on the north by the north branch of Mosquito Cove;
on the east by Silver Bay; on the south by the south branch of Mosquito
Cove and Applegate's Creek; and on the west by Bay Shore - Silverton
Road and Hooper Avenue.
B.
The southerly boundary of lands transferred from Fire
District No. 1 to Fire District No. 2 pursuant to Ordinance No. 391
is changed to be the southerly block limit for Block 442-B, which
is also known and described as the southerly line for Lot 8, Block
442-B, as shown on the Toms River Township Tax Map.
