§ 30-1 Establishment; Fire Chief.

There is hereby established a paid Bureau of Fire for the city which shall consist of a Fire Chief and such other officers and members whose grades and compensation shall be established by Council. All appointments to the paid Bureau of Fire shall be in accordance with Article XLIV (Civil Service) of the Third Class City Code.[1]

§ 30-2 Rules and regulations. [1]

The members of the paid Bureau of Fire shall perform such duties and comply with such rules and regulations as are prescribed by law or as may be prescribed by Council or the Director of Public Safety.
