As used in this chapter, certain terms are defined as follows:
- ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
- Includes, any liquid with an alcoholic content including but not limited to liquor, malt or brewed beer, potable distilled spirits, whiskey and wine.
- SUMMARY OFFENSE
- An offense defined by the Pennsylvania Crimes Code with a maximum fine of three hundred dollars ($300.) and a maximum term of imprisonment of not more than ninety (90) days.

No person shall possess, distribute or consume any alcoholic beverage at or on any public square, park, playground, playfield, parking lot, depot or other public resort which is owned, controlled or managed by the City of Butler or any agency thereof without express written permission from the City of Butler.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon summary conviction thereof, be fined not less than two hundred dollars ($200.) nor more than three hundred dollars ($300.) and, in default of payment thereof, shall be imprisoned in the county prison for not more than ninety (90) days.
