The following streets in the City of North Tonawanda are hereby designated as main arteries of travel and also called boulevards:
A. 
Main Street from Webster Street to the north line of the city.
B. 
Webster Street from the south line of the city to its intersection with Main Street.
C. 
Oliver Street from the south line of the city to Ward Road.
D. 
Payne Avenue from the south line of the city to the north line of Wheatfield Street.
E. 
Schenck Street from the east line of Division Street to its intersection with Oliver Street.
F. 
Division Street from the south line of Schenck Street extended to the north line of Erie Avenue extended.
G. 
Payne Avenue from the north line of Wheatfield Street to the southerly line of Ward Road in the City of North Tonawanda.
H. 
Sweeney Street from its intersection with Payne Avenue to its intersection with Wallenberg Road and Falls Boulevard.
I. 
Falls Boulevard from its intersection with Wallenberg Road and Sweeney Street to the north line of the city.
J. 
Erie Avenue from its intersection with Falls Boulevard to its intersection with Division Street.
All vehicles approaching said street or main artery of travel from an intersecting street shall, before crossing or turning into the same, come to a full stop, unless otherwise directed by a traffic officer or signal.
Conspicuous signs or signals shall be displayed at all points where the rule prescribed by this ordinance is to be observed.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of not to exceed $25 or to imprisonment for not exceeding 30 days, or to both such fine and imprisonment.

The following streets, roads, avenues and boulevards are hereby designated as truck routes within the City of North Tonawanda, New York:
A. 
River Road, entire length within the City.
B. 
Sweeney Street, from Oliver Street to Division Street; and Division Street, from Sweeney Street to Erie Avenue.

All trucks having a total combined gross weight of vehicle plus load in excess of five tons shall be excluded from all streets in the City of North Tonawanda except those streets above designated as truck routes.

Trucks making local deliveries and pickups shall use the above-designated truck routes to the place or point nearest their destination.

Violators of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $250.
