In the event that the Village Manager is unable to serve by
reason of death, resignation or other vacancy of said office, then
and in that event the Village Board shall be authorized to designate
by majority vote an Acting Village Manager and that Acting Village
Manager so designated shall exercise the duties and responsibilities
of that office until appointment of a Village Manager is accomplished
by vote of the Village Board.
