Locations described in Schedule XIV, §
276-47, are hereby designated as loading zones, and the standing and parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in such locations except for the express purpose of loading and unloading merchandise, goods and materials between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Such standing and parking for the purpose expressed above shall be for a time period of not more than 15 minutes.

A. No-parking zones.
(1) Pursuant to the authority granted under § 1640-a of the
New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, the following areas are designated
no-parking zones:
(a)
The entire front of the Ames Plaza building (1 Main Street),
from north to south, in length, and 33 feet four inches in depth from
the curb in front of said building to the first parking space.
(b)
The entire front of the commercial store on the west corner
of Kingston Street and Main Street, east to west, to a depth of 31
feet four inches from the curb in front of said store to the first
parking space.
(c)
All open roadways in the Ames Plaza area not designated as parking
areas.
(2) No parking shall be permitted in said zones, and violators shall be subject to the penalties provided in §
276-32 of this chapter.
The locations described in Schedule XV, §
276-48, are hereby designated as bus stops, and the parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in such locations.

A. The following spaces are designated as handicapped parking in accordance
with § 1203-C of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic
Law:
(1) One parking space in front of 74 Main Street.
(2) One parking space in front of 93 Main Street.
(3) One parking space in front of 124 Main Street.
(4) Two parking spaces on the southwesterly side of Gallant Avenue beginning
at a point 104 feet more or less from the intersection of the southwesterly
side of Gallant Avenue with Main Street for a distance of 40 feet
in a southeasterly direction.
(5) Two parking spaces in the parking lot off Main Street to the southwesterly
side of 60 Main Street, approximately 200 feet easterly of Franklin
Street. Such parking spaces shall be limited to two hours' maximum
parking.
(6) Two parking spaces to the rear of 99 Main Street, as said parking
spaces are marked and designated.
(7) Two parking spaces on Church Street at the side of the Village Hall
next to the new door entrance to the elevator.
(8) One parking space on the northeasterly side of Court Street beginning
at a point just opposite the existing southeasterly side of the sidewalk
leading to the county buildings, thence in a southeasterly direction
25 feet to a point.
(9) Two parking spaces on the southwesterly side of the new Village parking
lot behind 83 Main Street.

One parking space in front of the Catholic Church on Cross Street.
(11)
One parking space in front of the Baptist Church on Division
Street.
(12)
One parking space in front of Cannon Free Library at 40 Elm
Street.
B. Only vehicles exhibiting a special vehicle identification parking
permit or license indicating that the vehicle is used for the transportation
of a handicapped person, and such vehicle is being actually used for
the transportation of a severely disabled or handicapped person, shall
park in said spaces.
C. The penalty for violation of this section shall be as prescribed in Article
VII of this chapter.
