GENERAL REFERENCES

Fire lanes — See Ch. 189.
Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 339.
Whenever fire hydrants are to be placed upon or along any accepted street or thoroughfare or any street or thoroughfare for which Town acceptance may be sought at any future date, the person installing or causing such hydrant to be installed shall first notify the Town Council in writing of the fact and shall set forth the locations, types and mode of installation, and such notification shall include a plan showing such locations, etc.
Upon Town Council approval, such locations and installations shall be made at the direction and under the supervision of the Chief of the Fire Department at any given time or his duly appointed agent.
The location, type and installation of fire hydrants shall be made in conformity with the standard equipment utilized by the Town.
