A.
At the annual spring election, the following Town
officers shall be elected, with the exception of the Municipal Judge,
whose term shall be four years:

(1)
Five Town Supervisors, one of whom shall be designated
on the election ballots as Town Chairperson.
(a)
Two Supervisory Board member positions shall
be elected in even-numbered years for a period of two years and three
Supervisory Board member positions shall be elected in odd-numbered
years with one designated on the election ballots as Town Chairperson.
(b)
The Town Chairperson and two other Board members
designated by appointment of the Town Chairperson shall be the Commissioners
of the Town of Grand Chute Sanitary District No. 2 who shall serve
as Commission members of the Grand Chute - Menasha West Sewerage Commission.
Appointments by the Town Chairperson shall be made annually.

One Municipal Judge pursuant to § 755.02,
Wis. Stats., for a four-year term effective May 1, 1997.
B.
Pursuant to authority of the Town Meeting of April 1995, the Town Board designated that the Town Assessor would be selected by appointment of the Board. See § 110-2B.
C.
Pursuant to authority of the Town Meeting of April
2006, the office of Town Clerk is an appointed position.

2002, the office of Town Treasurer is an appointed position.

E.
No sitting
Town Board member and no candidate running for election to the Town
Board shall be permitted to work at election sites in the Town as
an election inspector, election official, or in any other capacity
as an employee of the Town for the purpose of performing election
duties. In addition, family members of a candidate whose name appears
on the ballot shall not be permitted to work as an election inspector
for those specific elections.

The following officials shall be appointed annually
by the Town Board of Supervisors at its first regular meeting following
the Annual Town Meeting, unless the Town Board of Supervisors otherwise
directs (§ 61.19, Wis. Stats.):

The following enumerated statutes, without limitation,
shall govern the rights, duties and obligations of elected officials
of the Town of Grand Chute:

The rights, obligations and duties of appointed
officials shall be as follows:
A.
The Town Clerk shall have the rights, obligations
and duties as specified in § 60.33, Wis. Stats.
B.
The Town Treasurer shall have the rights, obligations
and duties as specified in § 60.34, Wis. Stats.
C.
The Town Assessor shall have the rights, obligations
and duties as specified in Ch. 70, Wis. Stats. Whenever the Assessor,
in the performance of the Assessor's duties, requests or obtains income
and expense information pursuant to § 70.47(7)(af), Wis.
Stats., or any successor statute thereto, then such income and expense
information that is provided to the Assessor shall be held by the
Assessor on a confidential basis; except, however, that the information
may be revealed to and used by persons in the discharge of duties
imposed by law, in the discharge of duties imposed by office (including
but not limited to use by the Assessor in performance of official
duties of the Assessor's office and use by the Board of Review in
performance of its official duties), or pursuant to order of a court.
Income and expense information provided to the Assessor under § 70.47(7)(af),
Wis. Stats., unless a court determines that it is inaccurate, is,
per § 70.47(7)(af), Wis. Stats., not subject to the right
of inspection and copying under § 19.35(1), Wis. Stats.
D.
The Town Administrator shall have the rights, obligations,
and duties as specified by the Town Board per employment contract.
The Town Board of Supervisors authorizes the
use of facsimile signatures for signing documents, drafts, order checks
and transfers under the following conditions:
A.
All facsimile signature stamps shall be kept under
lock and key.
B.
All facsimile signature stamps shall be approved by
the bank by submitting proper signature cards.
C.
At least one manual signature shall appear on all
drafts, order checks and transfer orders unless the Board authorizes
the use of a signature machine for the purpose of signing drafts.
