Amendments to this Charter shall be in conformity
with the provisions of the Home Rule Charter and Optional Plans Law
(Act of December 19, 1996, P.L. 1158, No. 177,[2] as amended from time to time) or any successor statute.
The procedure for nomination and election of
all Borough officials shall be in accordance with the applicable provisions
of the Pennsylvania Election Code (Act of June 3, 1937, P.L. 1333,[1] as amended from time to time) or any successor statute.

If any provision of this Charter shall be judged
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment
shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder thereof but shall
be confined in its operation to the particular provision involved.
