A. 
The owners of all buildings or property within the Borough to which street numbers have been assigned in accordance with the Allegheny County 911 System shall have the street number prominently displayed at all times in accordance with the following standards. For the purpose of this chapter, a "street number" is an address number established in accordance with the county-wide 911 system with reference to the adjacent road or street assigned and given to a particular building or property:

Every structure to which a street number has been assigned shall have that street number displayed upon the mailbox and/or the building (if applicable) or with a vertical marker at the street level if the structure is more than 50 feet away from the street.
(1) 
Signage placed on the structure shall be placed near the front door where possible.
(2) 
Markers located at the street shall be in a vertical position.
(3) 
Numbers are to be legible and distinguishable and of not less than two inches in height of a contrasting, reflective color.

It shall be unlawful to cover, conceal, obstruct, destroy, remove, deface or vandalize any street number or road/street name sign installed or displayed pursuant to and in accordance with the requirements of this article.
Any person who shall be found to have engaged in the prohibited unlawful conduct as set forth in this chapter or who shall, after formal warning, fail to comply with any order to comply with the street numbering regulations shall be subject to penalty as provided in the codified ordinances of the Borough.
Should any of the required provisions of this chapter become a matter of conflict regarding the placement of signage requiring the need of mediation, the Borough of Bradford Woods Council will designate the Chief of Police as mediator to reach an appropriate decision regarding the correct placement of the signage.
