In order to permit fire trucks and fire-fighting equipment to have access to the building on the property of Bradford Woods Elementary School located within the Borough of Bradford Woods, fire lanes are hereby established on the roadway adjacent to such building.
No vehicle shall be permitted to park in said fire lanes at any time. Parking is hereby defined as "stopping, standing or parking," but shall not apply to vehicles loading or unloading passengers or materials.
Proper signs shall be erected to give notice of the aforesaid restriction, the said signs to clearly indicate the existence of the fire lane and to provide that no stopping, standing or parking shall be permitted at any time.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to the appropriate penalty set forth in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 101 et seq.).
