A.
Each member of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Altamont shall be required to attend meetings of the Zoning Board of Appeals on a regular basis. In the event that any member of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall fail to attend three consecutive meetings of such Board or shall fail to attend any four meetings out of the previous 12 meetings of such Board, such member shall be deemed to have failed to comply with such minimum attendance requirement, unless such absences are excused by the Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals in his or her discretion for good and sufficient cause.
B.

Notice of such hearing shall be given to such Board member by certified mail at least 10 days prior to such hearing.
[Amended 4-5-2022 by L.L. No. 1-2022]
If, after such hearing, the Board of Trustees determines that such member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, as the case may be, has failed to satisfy the minimum attendance requirement, it shall be the duty of the Mayor to remove such Board member from his or her respective Board.
