§ 89-1 Charges for copies of public records.

A. 
A copy or copies of a government record may be purchased by any person upon payment of the fee prescribed by law or regulation. Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessed for the duplication of a government record embodied in the form of printed matter shall be $0.05 per letter-size page or smaller and $0.07 per legal-size page.
B. 
A special service charge shall be imposed, in addition to the actual cost of duplicating the record, where the nature, format, manner of collation or volume of printed matter is such that it cannot be reproduced by ordinary document-copying equipment in ordinary business size or where such record involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request. The requestor shall have the opportunity to review and object to the special service charge prior to it being incurred.

§ 89-2 Charges for certified copies of vital records.

All individuals, entities or others who requested a certified copy of a vital record from the Township shall pay a copying charge of $5 per page for each copy. Said copying charge shall be payable to the Harmony Township Clerk at the time the copies are obtained.

§ 89-3 Release and redaction of public records.

Any public record for which a request for a certified copy is made shall be subject to release and/or redaction by the Township in accordance with the Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.

§ 89-4 DPW fees.

A labor charge of $100 per hour per laborer will be charged for all DPW call-outs, including but not limited to overgrown weed and brush removal pursuant to § 100-1 et seq.

§ 89-5 Tax Collector fees

A. 
The Tax Collector shall provide any party entitled to redeem a tax sale certificate two redemption calculations within a calendar year at no cost. A fee of $50 will be charged for any additional requests made in that calendar year. The fee must be paid prior to the redemption figures being released. The fee may not be passed onto the certificate.
B. 
All requests for redemptions must be made in writing to the Tax Collector. The lien holder must specify the date to be used for calculation.
