It shall be unlawful for any person within the City of Lexington to keep any billiard table, pool table, or any other tables with a view to gain, either directly or indirectly, or where money is charged for the use thereof, or playing on the same, or for that purpose, unless a license is first obtained, as hereinafter provided.

It shall be unlawful for any person having a license from the City to keep a billiard table or pool table to sell or permit any minor under the age of 13 years to play at billiards, or pool, at or upon any such table, or to frequent, remain at, or be harbored in or about any billiard or pool table, or room.
A license may be granted to the keeper of any billiard table or pool table or pin alley upon the payment of fees as set forth in Chapter 63, Fees.

All billiard or pool rooms and ten-pin alleys within said City shall be closed on Sundays from 11:00 p.m. Saturday until Sunday, from 6:00 p.m. Sunday until 8:00 a.m. Monday, and from 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. on all other days.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined an amount not to exceed $750 for each offense; and every day or part of a day any such person, firm, or corporation shall engage in said business without a license shall be deemed a separate offense.
