The Town Board hereby establishes the following as a standard workday for elected and appointed officials for the purpose of determining days worked reportable to the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System.
The standard workday for elected officials shall be as follows:
A. 
Supervisor, Councilpersons, Town Clerk and Town Justices: five-day work week, six-hour day.
B. 
Superintendent of Highways and highway employees: five-day work week, eight-hour day.

The standard workday for appointed officials shall be as follows: Bookkeeper, Assistant Bookkeeper, clerks (full and part time), members of the Zoning Board of Appeals, members of the Planning Board, Assessor, data collection clerks, secretary to the Supervisor, secretary to the Superintendent of Highways, Dog Control Officer, Code Enforcement Officer and mobile home, junkyard and sewage inspectors: five-day work week, six-hour day.
