Editor's Note: This local law also repealed former Ch.
217, Fees, which consisted of Arts. I through IV and VI through XIII,
adopted 4-5-1988, 10-4-1988, 1-10-1989, 6-5-1991, 12-3-1991, 5-4-1993,
8-2-1994, 2-4-1997, 3-4-1997, 4-1-1997, and 12-16-1999, as amended.
There shall be fees charged by departments of the City of Kingston,
including, but not limited to the Building Department, City Clerk,
Engineering Department, Fire Department, Planning Department, Police
Department, Department of Public Works, Treasurer's Department,
and Zoning Department. There shall also be fees charged for various
services, including, but not limited to, fishing permits, the purchase
of City of Kingston Code Books and the use of waterfront facilities,
in accordance with a fee schedule to be established from time to time
by ordinance of the Common Council of this City, which shall be incorporated
into this chapter.[1]
