It shall be unlawful for any person to be a passenger on, to operate, cause to be operated, or allow to be operated, on any Township property, licensed or unlicensed recreational vehicles, including but not limited to mini-bikes, four-wheel and three-wheel recreational vehicles, motor-bikes and snowmobiles, except as otherwise provided herein.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride a horse, or to allow a horse to be ridden, on any Township property.
The within chapter shall not apply to the operation, on Township streets, alleys and thoroughfares designated for vehicular traffic, of those licensed vehicles allowed to be operated on such thoroughfares by the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code,[1] as amended.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding brought before a District Justice under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution. In default of payment thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense, and each section of this chapter that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense.
