Town of South Bristol, NY Chapter 69 Checks, Fraudulent

§ 69-1 Imposition of service charge.

A. Effective with the date of the adoption of this chapter, the Tax Collector is herein authorized to impose a fee in the amount of fifteen dollars ($15.) for all returned checks tendered in payment of real property taxes collected on behalf of this municipality.

B. Effective immediately, the Town Clerk is herein authorized to impose a fee in the amount of fifteen dollars ($15.) for all returned checks collected on behalf of this municipality.

§ 69-2 Copies to be distributed.

A copy of this chapter shall be on file with the Town Clerk, and copies shall be distributed to the Tax Collector and Supervisor.
