A. 
All Town of Stanford property, with the exception of the Town of Stanford Recreation Area and Sparc Park, shall be closed between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. daily, except for use by authorized persons.
B. 
The hours of closing and the hours of operation of the Town of Stanford Recreation Area and Sparc Park shall be determined and set by resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Stanford. The Town Board may, by resolution adopted from time to time, amend or change such hours without the need to amend this chapter by local law. The Town of Stanford shall post such hours of closing and operation at the Recreation Area and Sparc Park, and any change in such hours of closing or operation shall be published as a public notice in at least one of the Town's official newspapers after adoption of such resolution.
C. 
Except for the hours of closing of the Recreation Area and Sparc Park, which may be set or changed by resolution of the Town Board, during the months of June, July and August, all other Town property shall be closed between the hours of 9:00 p.m. Eastern daylight saving time and 7:00 a.m. Eastern daylight saving time.

The Town of Stanford Recreation Director, Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk, Supervisor or their designee may give written permission to any person or groups of persons to remain on Town property daily between the hours of closing as are specified in § 148-1 above, on such terms as may be specified in such permission. A meeting which is called, noticed or regularly scheduled by any Town official, agency, board or organization shall constitute the written permission for such exception to the hours of closing.

Any person committing an offense against the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation under the Penal Law and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
