Water rates for all metered service shall be as follows: minimum quarterly charge: $6.50; for first 5,000 gallons, $0.65 per thousand gallons; for next 75,000 gallons, $0.50 per thousand gallons; for all over 80,000 gallons.
A charge of $1.46 per quarter is imposed on each property connected to the water line and located within 600 airline feet of the nearest fire hydrant.
A charge of $2 shall be made for shutting off service and a similar charge shall be made to restore service.
Bills shall be rendered quarterly as of the first days of March, June, September and December of each year. A discount of 3% shall be allowed on all bills paid on or before the 15th day of the first month of each quarter. Bills remaining unpaid for 45 days after the first day of each quarter shall be delinquent and the service shall be disconnected and the unpaid water rent liened against the property.
The Township Supervisors shall furnish meters to all consumers and shall install a service line from the water main to the curbline in front of each property. The property owner shall be responsible for any damage to the meter or other water equipment, normal wear and tear excepted.
No connection shall be made at any time or place between a line connected to the township water system and any other source of water supply.
All water revenues shall be kept separate and distinct from all other revenues in a water revenue account and expenditures from said account shall be for the retirement of water debt, extension of facilities and for maintenance and repairs to the water system.
