Every property within the Township of Lehigh, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, that has a residential dwelling unit, commercial structure or any other structure thereon, shall place a reflective emergency response number sign in a conspicuous place on said property. The number of any given property is available to the occupant or property owner upon request to the Township Secretary. The size and material specifications of such sign and placement on the property shall conform to the following requirements:

All residential structures shall have signs with three-inch- or four-inch-high white reflective numbers with a green reflective background, visible both during the day and at night, placed on a four-inch-to-six-inch-by-eighteen-inch rectangular sign, which is to be displayed either vertically or horizontally. The sign shall be placed on the same side of the public street or state highway as the dwelling unit located thereon, and at a location clearly visible from the public street or state highway when approaching the property from either direction on the street or highway, at a distance no greater than six feet from the berm of the public road.
B.
All nonresidential structures containing single or multiple retail, commercial or other units shall have signs stenciled or otherwise attached to each entrance door of each such unit, which signs shall consist of three-inch- or four-inch-high white reflective numbers with a green reflective background, visible both during the day and at night, placed (or stenciled) on a four-inch-to-six-inch-by-eighteen-inch rectangular sign, which is to be displayed either vertically or horizontally.
