§ 32-1 Use on certain streets prohibited.

The use of brake retarders or similar devices by truck operators shall be prohibited on Main Street/Route 29 between Eleventh Street and Front Street, and Seminary Street, within the Borough of Pennsburg.

§ 32-2 Exemption.

This chapter shall not apply to fire protection equipment or other emergency vehicles.

§ 32-3 Posting of signs.

Main Street/Route 29 between Eleventh Street and Front Street and Seminary Street shall be posted with the appropriate "brake retarders prohibited" signs as required by the relevant PennDot rules and regulations.

§ 32-4 Violations and penalties.

The fine or penalty for violation of this chapter shall not exceed $600.
