[Amended 7-1-2003]
The other elective officers, boards and commissions of the Town
shall, except as provided in this Charter, have the powers and duties
prescribed by law and by ordinance or resolution of the Council and
not in conflict therewith. The members of the Town Board of Education,
Town Plan and Zoning Commission and Town Zoning Board of Appeals shall
serve without compensation. The compensation of other elective officers,
except as otherwise provided by law, shall be fixed by the Council.
