The slaughtering of animals, except poultry and game, within the corporate limits of the City within sight of any public thoroughfare is hereby declared to be a nuisance and is hereby prohibited.
Any person violating this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both such fine and imprisonment.
