[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of
the City of Norwich 1-21-1997 by Ord. No. 1-1997; amended in its entirety
at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I.
Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
The Common Council shall from time to time as
deemed necessary set water and sewer use rates for the City of Norwich.
A.Â
Quarterly bills not paid by the 15th day of the succeeding
month will be considered past due and a late fee of 5% will be applied
to the balance.
B.Â
Monthly bills not paid by the first day of the succeeding
month will be considered past due and a late fee of 3.25% will be
applied to the balance.
The Common Council may, from time to time as
necessary, adopt formal policies under which service to both quarterly
and monthly accounts may be terminated for nonpayment.
