Junk dealers — See Ch. 250.
Whoever causes a motor vehicle, which in the opinion of the Chief of Police is a stripped or junked car or truck, to be abandoned on private property in the Town of Rockland, shall be given a five-day notice of a hearing before the Board of Selectmen. Said notice shall be given to the owner of the car, if known, and the owner of the property.
After hearing the facts, the Board of Selectmen may issue such orders as are necessary for the disposal of said car.

Violation of such orders shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $100.
