[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town of Amesbury
as Art. 31 of the 1990 Bylaws; amended 3-14-2006 by Bill No.
2006-016. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
All newly ratified labor contracts shall be
required to have Municipal Council approval for funding.
The initial request for appropriations for funding
of a labor contract agreement must be submitted by the Mayor as a
unique measure separately from the annual operating budget and be
accompanied by a copy of the contract for which funding is requested.
