[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town of Amesbury
as Art. 35 of the 1990 Bylaws. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The City hereby requires the numbering of every
dwelling, building or structure, whether existing on the date of adoption
of this chapter or which may exist in the future, on all public or
private ways located in the Town of Amesbury.
The owner of said building shall place on the building or at
the entrance of said property, if the structure is not readily visible
from the way, such number so as to be plainly visible from the street
which abuts the main entrance to such property. House numbers shall
be no less than two inches in height.
Numbers shall be assigned by the appropriate Town of Amesbury
agency or agencies.
