All residences, commercial and industrial buildings within the Borough of Trappe shall have a number visible from the street or road upon which the residence, commercial, or industrial structure fronts, so that the street number for such property is easily visible from said road or street. This requirements shall be satisfied by putting the street number on the mailbox, on both sides of the mailbox, so that it is visible from the street or roadway upon which the said property fronts, if there is a mailbox directly in front of said residence or building. Any property that does not have a mailbox directly in front thereof may either put numbers and letters that are a minimum of four inches high on the front of the building, or may put a small sign in front of the property, by the driveway, with the street number in numbers and letters that are a minimum of four inches high and are visible from both sides of the roadway upon which the property fronts. Shrubbery and plants shall be maintained so as to assure the full visibility of the street number from the street or roadway at all times during the year.
