A. 
Except as otherwise provided below, smoking, which includes the use of all tobacco and smoking products, including chewing tobacco, marijuana, pipes, cigars and e-cigarettes, shall be prohibited in all public buildings and grounds owned or occupied by the Borough of Oaklyn. Smoking shall also be prohibited in or on any publicly owned parks, sports fields and/or recreational areas within the Borough of Oaklyn.

B. 
Smoking shall only be permitted in specific designated areas outside of municipally owned buildings, only where full-time employees of the Borough of Oaklyn report to work. The Director of Public Works shall be responsible for establishing a designated smoking area on grounds outside of such occupied public buildings. Appropriate signage shall be installed which will identify the designated smoking area and indicate "except in this designated smoking area, smoking is otherwise prohibited in all public buildings and on all grounds owned or occupied by the Borough of Oaklyn as well as all publicly owned parks, sports fields and recreation areas."
The Director of Public Works shall implement this chapter by posting signs warning of the prohibition and by taking any other actions necessary to ensure compliance with this chapter.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court of the Borough of Oaklyn or such other court having jurisdiction, be subject to the fines and penalties as set forth in § 1-14 of the Code of the Borough of Oaklyn.
