It shall be unlawful for a person to set or use a trap of the
leg-gripping type of any kind or size within the City.
Any person who shall violate this article shall be guilty of
an offense punishable by a fine not less than $50 or more than $100
for the first violation and a fine of not less than $100 or more than
$250 for each subsequent violation.
Whenever a person is charged with a violation of this provision,
the Code Enforcement Office or other law enforcement office may issue
an appearance ticket in accordance with Article 150 of the Criminal
Procedure Law.
