[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Stewart Manor 1-7-1969 as Ord. No. 1.10 of the Unified Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
GENERAL REFERENCES
Posting of handbills on trees — See Ch. 100.
Landscaping services — See Ch. 103.
Infected and infested trees — See Ch. 137, Art. II.
Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 160.
No person shall plant, remove, cut or trim any tree or shrub in any street or public place within the Village of Stewart Manor.
No person shall mutilate, injure, destroy or cause to be destroyed any shade or ornamental tree or shrub or disturb any guard protecting such tree or shrub, planted upon any or other public place of said Village.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be liable for a fine not to exceed $250 for each offense or by imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or both.
