Editor’s Note: The Town voted at the 3-18-2018 ATM by
Art. 22 to discontinue the combined office of Town Clerk/Tax Collector
and instead elect a Town Clerk for a three-year term and allow the
Selectmen to appoint a Tax Collector for a three-year term. This article
will take effect in 2020 when the current Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s
term expires.
The Town combines the offices of Town Clerk and Tax Collector,
with the office becoming a full-time position, salaried in lieu of
fees, all fees to remain with the Town.

The Town will elect the Town Clerk-Tax Collector at the next
Annual Town Meeting for a term of three years.

The Town authorizes the Town Clerk-Tax Collector to appoint
deputies with the approval of the Selectmen.
