The Masontown Volunteer Fire Department and its members are specifically authorized to respond to all fire, emergency and other calls on their service within the Borough of Masontown.
The Masontown Volunteer Fire Department and its members are specifically authorized to respond to all requests for and from other organized fire-fighting or ambulance associations outside the Borough of Masontown.
The Masontown Volunteer Fire Department and its members are hereby authorized to engage in any training, maintenance, fundraising activities or any activities aimed at securing memberships or procuring equipment when specifically authorized by either the President, Fire Chief or any Assistant Fire Chief of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department.
Either the Fire Chief or President or other officer of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department shall report to the Council all activities planned for the next month at each meeting of the Council of the Borough of Masontown. Failure of an officer to notify the Council shall not vitiate authorization contained in §§ 8-1, 8-2 and 8-3 above.
Any member of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department is hereby authorized to engage in the performance of any duty authorized by an officer unless such authorization as to a specific duty or as to a specific officer has been withdrawn by the Council of the Borough of Masontown, in writing, addressed to the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department. Such revocation shall not be effective until after the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department.
