The Borough of Masontown hereby signifies its intention and desire to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities Act, approved May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, and its amendments.[1]

The President and Secretary of the Council of the Borough of Masontown are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Borough of Masontown Articles of Incorporation for said Authority in substantially the following form:
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
TO THE SECRETARY OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA:
In compliance with the requirements of the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended,[1] the Council of the Borough of Masontown, in the County of Fayette and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, desiring to organize an Authority, does hereby certify:
1.
The name of the Authority is Masontown Municipal Authority.
2.
Said Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented.
3.
No other Authority organized under said Act of May 2, 1945, as amended and supplemented, or by any previous Act of Assembly authorizing and organizing said Authority is in existence in or for the incorporating municipality in the said Borough of Masontown, County of Fayette and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
4.
The name of the incorporating municipality is the Borough of Masontown, of the County of Fayette and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the names and addresses of its municipal authorities[2] are as follows:

The project or projects to be undertaken by said Authority shall be projects permitted and authorized by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the Borough of Masontown may, from time to time, by resolution or ordinance specify.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Borough of Masontown has executed these Articles of Incorporation by its respective officers thereunto duly authorized under its municipal seal the 27th day of December 1961.

The Articles of Incorporation of said Authority in substantially the form set forth in § 14-2 of this chapter shall be executed on behalf of the Borough of Masontown by the Council President, attested by the Borough Secretary, and such officers are hereby authorized and empowered to do all things necessary and appropriate to effect and establish the said Authority in conformity with the provisions of the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented.[1]
