A. 
Any applicant for the issuance of a permit or license used or usable in connection with any real property located in the Township of Liberty shall submit proof with such application that all real property taxes due on the said parcel or parcels, including any and all accumulated interest and penalties as well as any other unpaid municipal liens, charges or assessments involving the said real property, have been paid in full through the quarter in which the application has been made.
B. 
In furtherance thereof, the applicant shall provide a written statement from the Liberty Township Tax Collector to the issuing official which shall indicate the status of all taxes, accumulated interest, penalties and other unpaid municipal liens, charges or assessments pending against the real property, if any. In addition, the applicant shall provide any other proof of payment of the aforementioned taxes, interest, penalties, liens, charges or assessments that may otherwise be required by the issuing official or employee of Liberty Township as he or she may deem necessary to establish that the applicant is in compliance with this article.
No permit, license or approval used or usable in connection with any real property located in the Township of Liberty shall be issued by any official or employee of the Township of Liberty unless all real property taxes due on the said parcel or parcels, including any and all accumulated interest and penalties as well as any other unpaid municipal liens, charges or assessments involving the said real property, have been paid in full through the quarter in which the application has been made.
This article shall not apply to any application for a license or permit that has been applied for prior to the adoption of this Ordinance.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
PERMIT or LICENSE
Includes a zoning permit, driveway permit, building permit, food establishment permit, ABC liquor license, certificate of occupancy, or any other permit or license required by ordinance or other laws.
