Borough of Westville, NJ Article I Parks and Playgrounds Committee

[Adopted 12-11-1956 (Ch. 19 of the 1974 Code)]

§ 12-1 Grant of control over parks and playgrounds.

Authority is hereby granted to the Parks and Playgrounds Committee of the Borough Council of the Borough of Westville to assume full control over all parks, playgrounds and recreation places used for recreation purposes within the Borough of Westville.

§ 12-2 Authorization to adopt rules and regulations; display.

A. The Parks and Playgrounds Committee of the Borough Council of the Borough of Westville is hereby authorized to adopt suitable rules and regulations for the use of said parks, playgrounds and recreation places. No such rules or regulations shall conflict with any state statutes and regulations.

B. Any rules and regulations adopted by the said Parks and Playgrounds Committee of the Borough Council of the Borough of Westville shall, upon adoption, be placed on public display in the Borough Hall of the Borough of Westville.

§ 12-3 Violations of rules and regulations.

Any person who shall violate any of the rules and regulations as adopted by the Parks and Playgrounds Committee of the Borough Council of the Borough of Westville shall be deemed and adjudged a disorderly person.
