Except as otherwise specifically provided in this Code, any person, firm or corporation who or which shall do any of the following shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject for each such violation to a fine of not more than $2,000, or imprisonment or community service for a period not exceeding 90 days, all in the discretion of the court:
A. 
Do or commit any act prohibited by the terms of any general legislation of this Code; or
B. 
Commit any act for which a license or permit is required in any general legislation of this Code without having secured or without being in possession of a valid license or permit at the time of the commission thereof; or
C. 
Omit to do or perform any act required to be done or performed by any general legislation of this Code; or
D. 
Maintain any place, establishment, vehicle, conveyance, equipment or article in violation of any of the provisions of any general legislation of this Code; or
E. 
Fail to maintain any condition, equipment, facility or premises required to be maintained by general legislation of this Code; or
F. 
In any manner, by any other deed, act, act of commission or act of omission, violate any of the provisions of any general legislation of this Code.
Except as otherwise specifically provided in any provision of general legislation, every day in which a violation of any provision of general legislation of this Code exists shall constitute a separate violation.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which is convicted of violating any provision of general legislation within one year of the date of a previous violation of the same provision and who or which was fined for the previous violation shall be sentenced by the court to an additional fine as a repeat offender; the additional fine shall be calculated separately from the fine imposed for the violation of the provisions hereof and shall not exceed $2,000, or imprisonment or community service for a period not exceeding 90 days, all in the discretion of the court.
