The Uniform Building Code of the International Conference of Building Officials, 1982 Edition, and subsequent revisions and amendments thereto adopted by the state is hereby adopted by reference in its entirety except as hereinafter provided.

A fee for each building permit shall be paid to the City of Las Vegas as set forth in Section 303. (a.) 1979 State of New Mexico Uniform Building Code and subsequent revisions and amendments thereto adopted by the State of New Mexico. A fee shall also be imposed for work exempt from permit as defined in 106.2 of the 1997 UBC, and other revisions thereof.

The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings of the International Conference of Building Officials, 1982 Edition, and subsequent revisions and amendments thereto adopted by the state is hereby adopted by reference in its entirety. Copies are available through the City offices.
There is hereby adopted the conditions, provisions, limitations and terms of the Electrical Code of the State of New Mexico, and if any provisions of this ordinance are in conflict therewith, the stricter provision shall prevail.
The Code for Energy Conservation in New Building Construction, 1977 Edition, compiled by Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., International Conference of Building Officials, and Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc., and subsequent revisions and amendments thereto adopted by the state is hereby adopted by reference in its entirety. Copies are available through City offices.
The Uniform Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction for Use of Municipalities and Counties in New Mexico, 1979 Edition, and subsequent revisions and amendments thereto prepared by the New Mexico Chapter of the American Public Works Association is hereby adopted by reference as modified by the City's Public Works Department constructions specifications and detailed standards.
