[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Girard 11-9-1931 by Ord. No. 207 (Ch. I, Part 4, of the 1974 Code of
Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Girard Borough Firemen's Relief Association, heretofore
incorporated, shall be the official relief fund association of the
Fire Department and fire companies of the Borough and by virtue hereof
shall have full recognition as such for all purposes.
There is hereby appropriated to the said Girard Borough Firemen's
Relief Association all moneys or payments hereafter paid to the Borough
by the State Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance
with any law of the commonwealth now enacted or hereafter to be enacted
for or on account of firemen's relief, and the Borough Treasurer
is hereby authorized to pay such moneys or payments, when received,
to the said Girard Borough Firemen's Relief Association.
