[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of

A Borough Planning Commission to be composed of five members
is hereby established and confirmed in and for the Borough of Palmyra.
The members shall be appointed as provided in Act 247 of 1968, as
amended, known as the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1] Said Commission shall perform all the duties and may exercise
all the authority vested by law in planning agencies for boroughs.
Provided: the Planning Commission now in office in the Borough shall
comprise the Planning Commission hereby created; but every vacancy
in the said Commission, regardless of the manner in which they shall
occur, shall be filled as provided by applicable law in effect at
the time of the happening of such vacancy.
