No person shall fire or discharge any firearms, or set traps, on any property without the written consent of the owner or legal occupant.
No person shall fire or discharge any firearm, hunt, or set traps, on any public property without the written consent of the officials, or their agent for this purpose, charged with the management of the particular public property. For the purposes of this bylaw, regulations promulgated by state agencies having jurisdiction over public property within the Town of Bolton specifically authorizing hunting and/or fishing thereon shall constitute written consent.
This bylaw shall not apply to the lawful defense of life and property nor to any law enforcement officer in the performance of his duties.
The provisions of this chapter may be enforced by noncriminal disposition pursuant to Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, § 1-5, of the Code of the Town of Bolton.
