The purpose of this article is to provide for the proration
of the veterans exemption in relation to the taxation of real property
situate in the Town of Hamlin, Monroe County, New York.
Pursuant to the provisions of Subdivision 5 of § 458
of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York, proration of
the veterans exemption in relation to the taxation of real property
shall be granted pursuant to § 458, Subdivision 5(a), of
the Real Property Tax Law for the purpose of real property taxes levied
for the Town of Hamlin.
