A Planning Commission is hereby established. The said Commission
shall consist of five members each of whom shall be a resident of
the Township. The members shall be appointed by the Board of Commissioners,
one of whom shall be designated to serve until the first Monday of
May 1953, one of whom shall be designated to serve until the first
Monday of May 1954, one of whom shall be designated to serve until
the first Monday of May 1955, one of whom shall be designated to serve
until the first Monday of May 1956, one of whom shall be designated
to serve until the first Monday of May 1957. Their successors shall
be appointed on the expiration of their respective terms to serve
for a term of four years.

The Planning Commission shall organize by electing one member
as Chairman, one member as Vice Chairman, and one member as Secretary
and shall adopt rules of procedure for the conduct of its business.

The Planning Commission shall undertake those duties entrusted
to the Commission by the Act of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
empowering the creation of the said Commission, or any amendments
thereto, and such matters as shall properly be referred to them by
the Township Board of Commissioners.
