The County of Suffolk does hereby elect, in accordance with
§ 384-d, Subdivision g, of the New York Retirement and Social
Security Law, to assume all of the additional costs on account of
previous service as an officer or a member of any other department
or force, by any present officers or members of the County Police
Department who are members of the New York State Policemen's
and Firemen's Retirement System and have elected or have been
required to contribute under the provisions of § 384-d of
the New York Retirement and Social Security Law.
