The Town Council of the Borough of Chambersburg, Franklin County,
Pennsylvania, herein establishes the Chambersburg Parking Authority
pursuant to Parking Authority Law 53 Pa. C.S.A. § 5501 et.
seq. (the Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended).
The proper Borough authorities are authorized to file Articles
of Incorporation with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
in accordance with applicable law, said Articles of Incorporation
to be executed on behalf of the Borough of Chambersburg by the President
of the Town Council and attested by the Borough Secretary. The Borough
Solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published
the notice of intention to file the Articles of Incorporation with
the Secretary of the commonwealth as required.
The Authority Board shall consist of five members to be appointed
by the Town Council.
