At all locations in the Township where official traffic-control signals are installed, pedestrians, except where directed otherwise by pedestrian-control signals installed under § 702 of this Part, shall obey the directions of those traffic-control signals, as follows:
1. 
When facing a green signal, a pedestrian may proceed across the roadway within a crosswalk;
2. 
When facing a steady yellow signal, a pedestrian shall not start to cross the roadway;
3. 
When facing a steady red signal, a pedestrian shall not enter the roadway.

At the following locations, official pedestrian-control signals shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected):

Every pedestrian facing a steady or flashing "Don't Walk" signal shall obey the directions of that signal, as follows:
1. 
When facing a steady "Don't Walk" signal, a pedestrian shall not start to cross the roadway in the direction of the signal, but any pedestrian who has partially completed his crossing on the "Walk" signal should proceed to a sidewalk or safety zone while the "Don't Walk" signal is showing.
2. 
When facing a flashing "Don't Walk" signal, a pedestrian shall not start to cross the roadway in the direction of the indication, but any pedestrian who has partly completed crossing during the "Walk" indication should proceed to a sidewalk or safety zone.
Any pedestrian who fails to obey the directions of a "Don't Walk" signal, as indicated above, shall be guilty of a summary offense and a violation of this Part.

Except when authorized by a police officer or other appropriately attired person authorized to direct, control or regulate traffic, it shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to cross the roadway at any of the following streets, at the intersection with that street indicated:

It shall be unlawful for any pedestrian:
1. 
To cross any roadway in a business district within the Township except in a crosswalk;
2. 
To cross the roadway, in any of the following portions of streets in the Township, except in a crosswalk:

Provided: nothing in this section shall permit any pedestrian to cross in a crosswalk at any location where that crossing is prohibited by § 702 of this Part.

1. 
After the effective date of this Part, it shall be unlawful for any person, corporation or other legal person to drive or move any vehicle, wheeled or otherwise, or to drive or ride any bicycle, tricycle or other such conveyance in and upon said streets below, except that the use of said streets is permitted for the pushing of baby carriages and shopping carts by people using said streets:

2. 
It shall be unlawful for any person, within the area of said pedestrian walkway which is hereby established, to:
A. 
Drive or operate in, on or upon the said pedestrian walkway all types of vehicles, including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, trailers and bicycles; provided further, however, that said walkway may be used for and occupied by properly attended baby carriages and strollers.
B. 
Permit any leashed or unleashed dogs, cats or any other types of animal to occupy the said pedestrian walkway in any manner.
C. 
Engage in, or permit or encourage any other person to engage in, any type of sports activity, including but not limited to baseball, basketball and football, on or in any part of said pedestrian walkway.
3. 
Any person who shall be found guilty of violating any provision of this Part shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300 or undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or both.

Pedestrian crosswalks are hereby established (or ratified if previously established) in the following locations:

Any pedestrian who violates any provision of this Part shall be guilty of a summary offense and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $5 and costs.
