Note: For ordinances and resolutions relating only to storm sewers and storm drains in connection with streets, see VIII, "Street.")
6-1. Providing for the laying of a public sewer in the Borough of Fox Chapel. [Ord. 12, 10/14/1935] (For amendment to this ordinance, see Section 6-3, below.) (This authorized the laying of the following sewers:
a.
E. Waldheim Road: beginning at the western intersection of E. Waldheim Road and Delafield Road, and extending along E. Waldheim Road to its eastern intersection with Delafield Road.
b.
The Maples: beginning at the intersection of Delafield Road and The Maples, and extending along The Maples to its intersection with E. Waldheim Road.
c.
West Drive: beginning at the intersection of Delafield Road and West Drive, and extending along West Drive to its intersection with Waldheim Road.
d.
Glendale Road: beginning at the intersection of Shady Lane and Glendale Road, and extending along Glendale Road and through private property to the southern intersection of Waldheim Road and Notre Dame Place, and along Waldheim Road to its northern intersection with Notre Dame Place.
e.
Warwick Place: beginning at the southern intersection of Waldheim Road and Notre Dame Place, and extending along Waldheim Road to its intersection with Warwick Place, and along Warwick Place to its intersection with Pasadena Drive.
f.
Notre Dame Place: beginning at the southern intersection of Waldheim Road and Notre Dame Place, and extending along Notre Dame Place for a distance of 150 feet.
g.
Shady Lane: beginning at the intersection of Delafield Road and Glendale Road, and extending along Glendale Road to its intersection with Shady Lane, along Shady Lane to the point of intersection of two streams, then along the northeast stream, across private property, to the intersection with Waldheim Road, and along Waldheim Road, southeasterly, for a distance of 266.83 feet.
h.
Northwest Stream: beginning at the point of intersection of two streams along Shady Lane, and following the course of the northwest stream, across private property, to the intersection with Waldheim Road, and along Waldheim Road, in a general northerly direction, for a distance of 390.42 feet.
i.
West Pasadena Drive: beginning at a point 22 feet northwest of the intersection of Pasadena Drive and Delafield Road, and extending along Pasadena Drive to its intersection with Grand View Drive North, and along Grand View Drive North, for a distance of 213.60 feet.

Elmhurst Place and Hampton Road: beginning at the intersection of Pasadena Drive and Elmhurst Place, and extending along Elmhurst Place to its intersection with Hampton Road, and along Hampton Road, in a northwesterly direction, for a distance of 562.85 feet.
k.
W. Waldheim Road: beginning at the intersection of Delafield Road and W. Waldheim Road [now Waldheim Road], and extending along W. Waldheim Road, in a northwesterly direction, for a distance of 598.12 feet.
l.
Delafield Road: beginning at a point 33.5 feet northeast of the intersection of Sixth Street and Delafield Avenue, and extending along Delafield Avenue to its junction with Delafield Road, and along Delafield Road to its intersection with Pasadena Drive.)
6-2. Authorizing the proper officers of the Borough of Fox Chapel to enter into a contract with the Borough of Aspinwall, permitting the said Borough of Fox Chapel to connect its sanitary sewer system to and discharge into the sewer system of the Borough of Aspinwall, and providing the form of contract upon the same. [Ord. 22, 11/9/1936] (For amendments to this contract, see Sections 6-8 and 6-11, below.)
6-3. Amending Ord. No. 12 entitled "An Ordinance providing for the laying of a public sewer in the Borough of Fox Chapel" adding thereto additional sewer lines. [Ord. 23, 12/14/1936] (For ordinance amended, see Section 6-1, above.) (This changed the routes of the following sewers:
a.
West Drive: beginning at the intersection of Delafield Road and West Drive, and extending along West Drive to its intersection with Rutledge Road, then back along West Drive to its intersection with Windsor Road, then along Windsor Road to its intersection with Waldheim Road, and along Waldheim Road to its intersection with Shady Lane.
b.
Glendale Road: beginning at the intersection of Shady Lane and Glendale Road, and extending along Glendale Road and across private property to the southern intersection of Notre Dame Place and Waldheim Road, and along Waldheim Road, in a northeasterly direction, for a distance of 342.87 feet.
c.
Shady Lane: beginning at the intersection of Delafield Road and Glendale Road, and extending along Glendale Road to its intersection with Shady Lane; then along Shady Lane to the intersection of two streams; along the northeast stream, across private property, to the intersection with Waldheim Road; along Waldheim Road, southeasterly, for a distance of 266.83 feet; then returning to the intersection of Waldheim Road and the northeast stream, and extending through private property, northeasterly, for a distance of 284.02 feet, and northwesterly, for a distance of 98.09 feet.
d.
Northwest Stream: beginning at the intersection of two streams at Shady Lane, and extending along Shady Lane to Waldheim Road, then along Waldheim Road for a distance of 390.42 feet to an unnamed thirty-foot right-of-way, and along the unnamed thirty-foot right-of-way, northeasterly, for a distance of 625.24 feet.
e.
Elmhurst Place and Hampton Road: beginning at the intersection of Pasadena Drive and Elmhurst Place, and extending along Elmhurst Place to its intersection with Hampton Road, and along Hampton Road for a distance of 743.05 feet.)
6-4. Providing for the laying of a public sewer in the Borough of Fox Chapel, in the Fox Chapel Manor District of the Borough and extending along or near Fox Chapel Road in a southerly direction to the site of a proposed sewage disposal plant, and providing for the construction of said sewage disposal plant. [Ord. 29, 8/28/1937]
6-5. Placing in the sinking fund of the Borough of Fox Chapel such moneys as may be received by reason of the assessment of benefits in the construction of the Delafield Heights Sewer. [Ord. 31, 8/18/1937]
6-6. Providing for the laying of a public sewer in the Borough of Fox Chapel. [Ord. 90, 11/14/1949] (This sewer was to be constructed and laid as follows:
a.
Main Line Right of Way: beginning at the present manhole in E. Waldheim Road, opposite the right-of-way dividing Lots 4 and 5 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending through private property in the same Plan to a point in the center of The Oaks; southeastwardly along The Oaks for a distance of 61.63 feet; through private property in the said Plan to a point in Pasadena Drive South; along Pasadena Drive South to its intersection with Glenover Place; and northwestwardly along Glenover Place for a distance of 206.60 feet.
b.
Pasadena Drive South:
Line A. Beginning at a point in Pasadena Drive South opposite Lots 92 and 93 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southeastwardly along Pasadena Drive South for a distance of 302.55 feet.
Line B. Beginning at a point in Pasadena Drive South opposite the corner of Lots 99 and 100 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending northwestwardly along Pasadena Drive South to the intersection of Pasadena Drive and Delafield Road.
Line C. Beginning at a point in Pasadena Drive South opposite the corner of Lots 111, 112, 147 and 148 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending northeastwardly along Pasadena Drive South to its intersection with The Oaks, and along The Oaks, northwestwardly, for a distance of 327.97 feet.
Line D. Beginning at a point in Pasadena Drive South on the projected dividing line of Lots 114, 113, 145 and 146 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southwestwardly along Pasadena Drive South to its intersection with Riverview Terrace, and along Riverview Terrace to its intersection with The Oaks.
The Oaks. Beginning at a point in The Oaks at the intersection of Lots 22 and 23 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southeastwardly along The Oaks to its intersection with Pasadena Drive South.
c.
Service Lines Right of Way:
1.
Beginning at the corner of Lots 140, 148 and 149 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending through private property in the said Plan to a point in Riverview Terrace at the dividing line of Lots 139, 140, 136 and 137.
2.
Beginning at a point on the line dividing Lots 8 and 10 from Lot 9 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southwestwardly along that line for a distance of 37 feet to a point on the main line right-of-way.
3.
Beginning at a point on the line dividing Lots 10 and 12 from Lot 11 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southwestwardly for a distance of 43 feet to a point on the main line right-of-way.
4.
Beginning at the corner of Lots 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southeastwardly for a distance of 35 feet to a point on the main line right-of-way.
5.
Beginning at a point on the line dividing Lots 16 and 17 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southeastwardly for a distance of 30 feet to a point on the main line right-of-way.
6.
Beginning at the corner of Lots 79 and 80 in the Aspinwall-Delafield Company Plan Number 5, and extending southeastwardly for a distance of 16 feet to a point on the main line right-of-way.)
6-7. Authorizing an agreement with the City of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority providing for sewage treatment and disposal service and imposing charges therefor. [Ord. 91, 11/15/1949]
6-8. Authorizing the proper officers of the Borough of Fox Chapel to enter into a contract with the Borough of Aspinwall permitting said Borough of Fox Chapel to make additional connections to its sanitary sewage system and discharge the same into the sewer system of the Borough of Aspinwall (amending the contract between the Borough of Aspinwall and the Borough of Fox Chapel) and providing for the form of contract upon the same. [Ord. 99, 8/14/1950] (For contract amended, see Section 6-2, above.)
6-9. Authorizing the construction of an eight-inch sanitary sewer from a point 12.2 feet north of the southerly line of property now or formerly of the Presbytery of Pittsburgh along the easterly side of Fox Chapel Road in the right-of-way thereof a distance of 2,705 feet to a point in the right-of-way of said Fox Chapel Road 120 feet north of the southerly line of land of Frank J. Kelly, together with laterals extending under said road to the westerly side thereof, and providing for the assessment of the costs, damages and expenses thereof upon abutting property owners specially benefited thereby. [Ord. 137, 4/4/1955]
6-10. Authorizing the construction of an eight-inch sanitary sewer from existing Fox Chapel Manor Sewer along the easterly side of Fox Chapel Road in the right-of-way thereof a distance of 450 feet to a point near the intersection of Fox Chapel Road and Spring House Lane as hereinafter fully set forth and providing for the payment therefor from the funds of the Borough and for reimbursement of the Borough under agreement with occupant of property specially benefited thereby. [Ord. 138, 4/4/1955]
6-11. Authorizing the proper officers of the Borough of Fox Chapel to enter into contracts with the Borough of Aspinwall, permitting the Borough of Fox Chapel to make additional connections to its sanitary sewage system and discharge the same into the sewer system of the Borough of Aspinwall (amending prior contracts between the Borough of Aspinwall and the Borough of Fox Chapel) and providing for the form of contracts upon the same. [Ord. 150, 3/19/1956] (For contracts amended by this ordinance, see Sections 6-2 and 6-8, above.)
6-12. Authorizing a supplementary agreement with the City of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority to provide sewage treatment and disposal service to the remainder of the Borough under the terms and the rates or charges of the agreement of December 1, 1949, previously applicable only to the southwesterly portion of the Borough. [Ord. 170, 6/17/1957] (For the original agreement, see Section 6-7, above; for supplement to this agreement, see Section 6-13, below.)
6-13. Requesting and authorizing Allegheny County Sanitary Authority to bill the Borough for all its charges for providing sewage treatment service to all water users in sewered premises in the Borough instead of billing each such water user individually. [Ord. 181, 3/17/1958] (For agreements supplemented by this ordinance, see Sections 6-7 and 6-12, above.)
6-14. Authorizing and directing the construction of a sewage pumping station, sanitary sewers of the force main type and sanitary sewers of the gravity type along Fox Chapel Road and Squaw Run Road East. [Ord. 184, 8/18/1958]
6-15. Authorizing the proper officers of the Borough of Fox Chapel to enter into contracts with Shadyside Academy and Fox Chapel Golf Club relative to the construction of extensions to the Borough sanitary sewer system, lateral sewers connecting therewith, payment therefor by Shadyside Academy and Fox Chapel Golf Club, and other matters and providing for the form of contracts upon the same. 6-17. Untitled resolution accepting the sanitary sewer system and the interim sewage treatment plant serving the Hunt Road Park Plan, as well as the deed to the plant and the property on which it is located, being Lot No. 11. [Resolution 57, 11/28/1960]
6-18.
